The AA10VSO18DFR/31R-VKC62K01 variable displacement pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth in the A10VSO Variable Pumps series and is used to regulate flow in hydraulic automation systems. The displacement of 18 cm³ per revolution defines the volume moved on each shaft turn, and the clockwise rotation matches common engine layouts. A DFR differential-pressure control is preset to 200 psi so the swashplate retracts when system pressure rises to that value. The shaft may run at 3900 rpm when set below maximum displacement, while full displacement limits speed to 3300 rpm to protect internal parts. At 3300 rpm the pump can supply 15.6 gpm, giving adequate flow for medium power circuits. A nominal pressure rating of 4100 psi covers continuous duty, and short peaks up to 5100 psi can be handled during load spikes.
Port hardware is standardized for quick installation. The suction port uses a SAE 1 in pad to reduce inlet losses, and the pressure port is a SAE 3/4 in pad for high-pressure delivery. Case fluid exits through a drain port threaded 9/16-18 UNF-2B, while a pilot oil connection threaded 7/16-20 UNF-2B supports external control signals. All service ports sit laterally opposite so hoses can be routed on separate sides of the housing. FKM sealing material resists heat and aggressive fluids. A 5/8 in, 9-tooth, 16/32DP through-drive hub allows another pump to be coupled in tandem for additional circuits without a second prime mover.
