The AA10VSO140DRG/31R-PKD62K03 variable pump is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the A10VSO Variable Pumps series and provides adjustable flow to open-circuit hydraulic drives. Its mode of operation is open circuit, so the pump draws fluid from a separate reservoir and feeds it directly to the system without internal recirculation. Continuous working limits are set by a nominal pressure of 4000 psi, while a peak pressure capacity of 5100 psi covers short load spikes. A differential pressure setting of 290 psi is used by the DRG compensator to regulate displacement, and the pilot oil needed for that control is 1.2 gpm. Fluid enters through an SAE J518 2 1/2 in inlet port that provides a low-restriction suction path, then exits through an SAE J518 1 1/4 in pressure port for downstream actuation. The rotating group is turned clockwise when viewed on the shaft, which matches standard right-hand prime movers.
The drive end of the unit withstands 875 lb-ft of input torque on shaft K, and an identical 875 lb-ft through-drive rating allows a second pump to be mounted in tandem without exceeding mechanical limits. Installation to the prime mover uses an SAE J744 152-4 (D) mounting flange, giving a standardized bolt circle for engines or gearboxes. Version 62 service ports are positioned on the side to keep hose runs clear of the top deck in mobile equipment. Two case drain ports discharge leakage oil, and each port is threaded 1 1/16-12 UN-2B to accept common swivel fittings. The pump without fluid weighs 132 lb, so lifting gear must be selected accordingly during assembly.
