The AA10VSO140DFR1/31R-PKD62N00 pump is a variable displacement axial piston unit from the A10VSO Variable Pumps series produced by Bosch Rexroth. Intended for hydraulic automation, it converts mechanical rotation into a regulated oil flow with pressure compensation to drive cylinders and motors. The DFR1 pressure/flow controller adjusts the swash-plate angle so flow matches demand while limiting pressure. A displacement of 140 cm³ per revolution sets the theoretical output volume that can be delivered each shaft turn. Clockwise rotation aligns with right-hand prime movers common on mobile machinery. The normal working limit is 280 bar, and the controller also holds the pressure set-point at the same 280 bar to protect downstream components. System transients can be accepted up to a peak of 350 bar without damage. A differential pressure of 14 bar across the control ports provides the reference needed for stable load-sense operation. Reliable suction is maintained when inlet absolute pressure stays above 0.8 bar, preventing cavitation at high speeds.

Case drainage must remain below 2 bar absolute so internal leakage oil returns safely without forcing the shaft seals. For the size-140 frame the maximum flow deviation is limited to 1.60 gpm, which establishes the accuracy band between commanded and delivered flow during steady operation. Ports are arranged on the side according to version 62, simplifying pipe runs in stacked manifold blocks. The auxiliary Port X uses a 9/16-18 UNF-2B thread with a depth of 13 mm to accept standard SAE fittings for external control signals. NBR primary seals with an FKM shaft seal contain high-temperature oil while resisting common hydraulic fluids. There is no through-drive, so the pump terminates the shaft line and does not pass torque to additional units. Together these limits and interface details allow the pump to integrate into closed-loop circuits where predictable flow, tight leakage control, and straightforward mounting are required.
