It operates in an open circuit so return oil is directed to tank rather than the inlet side. DR pressure control adjusts displacement to hold target pressure, and the maximum hysteresis of 45 psi maintains consistent response when the load varies. Discharge moves from port S to port B, while clockwise rotation matches right-hand engine drives. A parallel-key shaft end provides positive torque transfer to the prime mover, and the unit omits a through drive so no secondary pump can be stacked. Fluid temperature is permitted up to 239 °F, which covers typical industrial oil-cooler settings and temporary heat spikes. Short-term viscosity limits span 10 mm²/s to 1,600 mm²/s, so the pump can turn safely when oil is either very thin after extended operation or highly viscous at low ambient temperature. Together, these boundaries set the operating envelope for automation tasks that need predictable flow under changing environmental or load conditions, ensuring the axial piston mechanism retains film lubrication, volumetric efficiency, and long service life.
