The inlet line may see absolute pressures as high as 435 psi (30 bar), and the case drain line is limited to 29 psi (2 bar) to protect shaft seals and bearings.
For installation, the housing uses an SAE J744 two-hole mounting flange that aligns with common pump pads, and the flanged pressure and suction ports follow the SAE J518 pattern for straightforward tube connections. The unit is supplied with port plate code 61 so both service ports are located at the rear, simplifying manifold attachment on compact power packs. During control operation the DFR1 regulator maintains a differential pressure of 200 psi (14 bar), and the internal pressure controller is designed with a maximum hysteresis of 45 psi (3 bar) to keep flow changes within tight limits. Fluid level constraints are defined by a maximum drain pressure 7 psi (0.5 bar) above the inlet, which prevents aeration of the case. FKM seals resist high-temperature hydraulic oil, and the configuration omits a through drive so no additional pump can be piggy-backed.
