The AA10VO60DR/52L-VSC62K04 variable pump is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the A10VSO Variable Pumps series. It delivers adjustable hydraulic flow for closed-loop automation circuits. This unit rotates counter-clockwise to match prime movers specified for left-hand rotation, and fluid moves from port S to port B through the internal displacement mechanism. Pressure control is handled by a DR device which sets displacement in response to system demand; the standard DR setting of 4,100 psi (280 bar) establishes the reference for load sensing. The pump is rated for continuous operation at 4,000 psi (280 bar) nominal pressure and can tolerate transient peaks up to 5,100 psi (350 bar) during shock events. Stable suction is supported when inlet absolute pressure remains between 12 psi (0.8 bar) and 435 psi (30 bar), ensuring cavitation is avoided under varying reservoir conditions.
Mechanical interfaces are arranged for straightforward integration with SAE mounting hardware. A two-hole SAE J744 flange carries the main body, while hydraulic discharge connects through a SAE J518 flange pressure port. The suction connection uses a UNC threaded port to simplify hose selection. For auxiliary circuits the pump provides two case drain ports, and case housing pressure must be kept below the 29 psi (2 bar) maximum absolute level to protect shaft seals. The fluid barrier itself is an FKM seal, selected for compatibility with common mineral oils and higher temperatures. Power can be passed downstream through a 1-inch 15-tooth 16/32DP through-drive coupler fastened to a SAE J744 101-2 (B) flange, allowing tandem pump arrangements without extra adapters. These mounting and through-drive elements help designers create compact hydraulic manifolds while keeping the pump aligned with industry dimensional standards.
