The AA10VO60DFR/52L-VSD62K68 axial piston pump is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth within the A10VSO Variable Pumps series. It supplies adjustable flow for hydraulic automation circuits where pressure demand varies. The unit operates with counterclockwise rotation, and fluid moves from port S to port B as defined by its direction of flow. A maximum operating pressure of 350 bar supports high-load actuators, while a nominal pressure rating of 280 bar governs continuous duty. The internal DFR control maintains a 14 bar differential to stabilize system pressure. Inlet absolute pressure is permitted between 0.8 bar and 30 bar to prevent cavitation and accommodate boosted suction. Connection to the prime mover is via an SAE J744 mounting flange. The case must remain below an absolute pressure of 2 bar, and the drain line may rise no more than 0.5 bar above inlet pressure to protect housing seals.

Two separate case drain ports permit flexible hose routing and reduce back-pressure in installation layouts. Service connections are positioned on the side according to code 62, which simplifies access when the pump is mounted deep inside a machine frame. The housing tolerates hydraulic fluids up to 115 °C, enabling continuous service in applications with elevated oil temperatures. Short-term viscosity limits extend from a minimum of 10 mm²/s to a peak of 1600 mm²/s, so the unit can start in cold oil, survive thick fluid during winter start-ups, and maintain volumetric efficiency once the oil thins under heat. An FKM elastomer is used for the shaft and port seals, providing compatibility with common hydraulic fluids while withstanding the stated temperature range. Together, these attributes allow the pump to sustain reliable flow across a broad operating envelope without imposing special conditioning hardware on the hydraulic reservoir.
