Clockwise shaft rotation matches standard engine output direction, easing coupling to diesel or electric prime movers. Oil is routed from port S to port B, giving a predictable flow direction for valve stack layouts. Inlet pressure up to 435 psi (30 bar) absolute prevents cavitation when the reservoir is pressurized. The pump supports a suction height of 31.5 in (800 mm), limiting vertical reservoir placement so the fluid column stays continuous. HLP hydraulic oil conforming to DIN 51524-2 is specified to ensure proper viscosity and anti-wear performance. Continuous fluid temperature may reach 230 °F (110 °C), so system coolers must keep oil below this limit. Version 62 side ports orient pressure and suction lines laterally, improving access in compact power packs. Pilot port X uses a 7/16-20 UNF-2B thread that accepts standard test points or proportional control lines. An SAE J744 101-2 (B) through drive flange enables tandem mounting, and the 1 in 15T 16/32 DP spline hub carries the drive torque to the secondary unit. FKM seal material resists high temperature and mineral oil additives, extending service life.
