The A10VSO71DFR1/31R+A10VSO18DR/31R is a twin axial piston variable pump assembly from Bosch Rexroth in the A10VSO Variable Pumps series. It supplies adjustable hydraulic flow for automated machinery and mobile equipment. Pump 1 has a displacement of 71 cm³ per revolution, while pump 2 displaces 18 cm³ per revolution, so flow can be matched to simultaneous high and low demand circuits. Both units turn clockwise to align with standard prime movers. At the rated input speed, pump 1 delivers up to 156 l/min and pump 2 delivers up to 59 l/min. The internal case of pump 1 holds 1.6 l of fluid which provides lubrication and cooling during continuous duty. Maximum speeds at full displacement reach 2200 rpm for pump 1 and 3300 rpm for pump 2. The assembly is designed for a nominal operating pressure of 280 bar.
When displacement is reduced below the maximum setting, pump 1 can be driven up to 2600 rpm and pump 2 up to 3900 rpm, which broadens the usable speed range for variable duty cycles. Pump 2 contains 0.4 l of case oil to stabilize temperature in its smaller housing. The assembly withstands a maximum system pressure of 350 bar for brief overload conditions. A through-drive rating of 100 % lets the larger pump pass full input torque to auxiliary pumps mounted in series. At 280 bar the expected drive torque is 316 Nm for pump 1 and 80 Nm for pump 2, values that assist in motor sizing and shaft coupling selection.
