The A10VSO28DFR/31R-PPA12K01 is a variable displacement axial piston pump in the A10VSO Variable Pumps series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It supplies hydraulic power for automation circuits by varying the swashplate angle to match load demand. The unit offers a geometric displacement of 28 cm³ per revolution and employs a DFR pressure-flow controller that balances pressure and flow automatically. Differential pressure across the controller is fixed at 200 psi (14 bar) to stabilize compensator response, and rotation is clockwise, suiting right-hand prime movers. Installation is via an ISO 3019-1 mounting flange while the suction port accepts an ISO 6162-1 1 ¼ in connection rated for 10 bar. The pump is filled with HLP mineral oil conforming to DIN 51524-2, and when driven at 1800 rpm it delivers 50 L/min of flow for medium-duty actuation tasks.
At higher input speeds the pump outputs 84 L/min at 3000 rpm, and the permitted mechanical limit is 3600 rpm for intermittent service. When operating at full displacement the speed must not exceed 3000 rpm to avoid overscoring. The nominal working pressure is 4100 psi (280 bar) with a maximum of 5100 psi (350 bar) for short periods. Output torque corresponds to 45 Nm at 100 bar and rises to 125 Nm at 280 bar, allowing direct coupling to industrial electric motors. Working port B uses an ISO 6162-1 ¾ in interface able to carry 350 bar line pressure and connect to downstream actuators. These parameters define performance envelopes so the pump can regulate cylinder or motor motion precisely in closed-loop hydraulic automation systems.
