The A10VSO18DFR1/31R-PPA12N00 SO108 variable pump is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the A10VSO Variable Pumps series. It supplies hydraulic power in automated systems through a displacement of 18 cm³ per revolution, allowing predictable volume delivery per shaft rotation. The DFR1 pressure-flow control maintains both pressure and flow automatically so circuits receive consistent energy under varying loads. At its nominal speed the pump can deliver up to 59 L/min, supporting medium-capacity actuator groups. The unit accepts a maximum speed of 3300 rpm when set to full displacement, enabling compact designs that run at higher motor speeds. Clockwise shaft rotation is defined for correct coupling with right-hand prime movers. A suction port sized at 1 in according to ISO 6162-1 provides low-restriction fluid entry, while the minimum inlet pressure of 12 psi absolute prevents cavitation in the pumping chambers. A differential pressure setting of 200 psi permits the controller to adjust swashplate angle as flow demand changes.

The pump works against a nominal outlet pressure of 4100 psi and can tolerate peaks to 5100 psi, giving headroom for transient load spikes in mobile or industrial circuits. When operating at 280 bar the drive requires 80 Nm of torque, a value used for selecting an appropriate electric motor or engine. The case housing must not exceed 30 psi absolute, so drain plumbing has to limit backpressure to avoid seal damage. System piping connects through a 3/4 in pressure port built to ISO 6162-1 which matches common high-pressure tube fittings, and control signals enter through a 7/16-20 UNF-2B pilot port for remote pressure compensation. Case leakage returns through a 9/16-18 UNF-2B drain port that directs oil back to tank. The total mass is 28 lb without a through drive, allowing single-person installation and reducing load on mounting brackets.
