The A10VSO18DFR1/31R-PPA12N00 variable pump belongs to the A10VSO Variable Pumps series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for closed-loop hydraulic automation. It delivers a geometric displacement of 18 cm³ per revolution to convert mechanical input into controlled fluid flow. During standard operation at 1800 rpm the pump supplies 32 L/min, and the flow direction is from port S to port B. The internal control sets a differential pressure of 200 psi (14 bar) to maintain stable circuit pressure across varying loads. Fluid enters the pump with a minimum absolute inlet pressure of 0.8 bar and may reach up to 30 bar without cavitation. The shaft turns clockwise, matching right-hand prime movers, and no through drive is provided for tandem mounting. Continuous work is supported at a nominal pressure of 4100 psi (280 bar).
The unit sustains a peak pressure of 5100 psi (350 bar) for short overload events while generating up to 80 Nm of torque at 280 bar. When the displacement is set to maximum, permissible speed reaches 3300 rpm, and it increases to 3900 rpm if the displacement is reduced below the maximum setting. At rated speed the pump can deliver a maximum flow of 59 L/min, enabling higher actuator velocities when required. Case drain pressure must stay below 2 bar to protect shaft seals and bearings, and the housing can dissipate up to 28 kW of hydraulic power at 280 bar without thermal stress.
