The A10VSO10DFR1/52R-VPA14N00 axial piston pump is part of the A10VSO Variable Pumps series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It supplies adjustable flow for hydraulic automation systems that require precise actuator speed and force control. The pump draws hydraulic fluid from port S and discharges it to port B, so the direction of flow is S to B. It is built for clockwise shaft rotation, matching prime movers that run in that orientation. A flow-control differential pressure of 14 bar (200 psi) keeps displacement steady when load demand fluctuates. The circuit must use HLP mineral oil conforming to DIN 51524-2 for correct wear protection and viscosity. Inlet conditions are flexible because the unit accepts absolute pressures from 0.8 bar (12 psi) to 30 bar (435 psi).
Working pressure capability defines system limits; the pump carries a nominal pressure of 280 bar (4100 psi) and can withstand a maximum of 350 bar (5100 psi) for brief peaks. Its internal pressure control is preset not to exceed 280 bar (4100 psi), preventing overshoot and safeguarding downstream components. Case drain pressure must remain below an absolute value of 2 bar (29 psi) to avoid seal damage and to ensure efficient internal leakage management. Continuous duty is possible with hydraulic fluid temperatures up to 110 °C (230 °F), which covers elevated return-line conditions in compact power units. Because the model is supplied without a through drive, it cannot support piggyback pumps; this omission shortens the assembly and reduces radial loading on the drive shaft.
