The A10VO85DFR1/52R-VSC62K68 variable displacement pump is built by Bosch Rexroth in the A10VSO Variable Pumps series. It supplies hydraulic actuators with flow that changes according to system demand, making it suitable for automated control loops. A nominal pressure rating of 280 bar establishes the continuous operating limit, while a peak pressure capability of 350 bar permits short overload events without damage. The differential pressure standard setting of 14 bar defines the pilot control level at which the pump adjusts its swashplate. Flow travels from port S to port B, so circuit designers can align suction and pressure lines accordingly. Reliable suction is maintained because the inlet absolute pressure must stay above 0.8 bar, yet it may reach up to 30 bar when a charge pump is used. Case drain pressure is allowed to rise only 0.5 bar above the inlet, protecting shaft seals and reducing internal leakage.
Internal housing loads are further limited by an absolute case drain pressure cap of 2 bar, a value that prevents excessive bearing stress. A maximum fluid temperature of 115 °C enables the unit to handle elevated oil temperatures common in compact power packs. Short-term viscosity limits span from 10 mm²/s to 1600 mm²/s, so the pump tolerates both hot thin oils during heavy duty cycles and cold thick oils at start-up. All service ports are positioned on the side, simplifying access in narrow machine frames. The through-drive flange follows the SAE J744 101-2 (B) pattern, and the through-drive spline is sized at 7/8 in with 13 teeth at 16/32 DP, allowing an auxiliary pump to be mounted in line for multi-circuit systems. These mounting provisions let the A10VO85DFR1/52R-VSC62K68 transmit torque downstream without an extra adapter.
