The A10VO71DFR1/31R-VSC92K04 axial piston unit is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the A10VSO Variable Pumps series and supplies adjustable flow for industrial hydraulic automation. A DFR1 pressure-flow control regulates both outlet pressure and displacement, matching delivery to system demand. The pump moves 71 cm³ of fluid per revolution, so flow scales directly with drive speed. At a typical speed of 1800 rpm it provides 33.8 gpm, while the design allows a maximum of 41.2 gpm when higher speeds are used. Continuous operation is rated for 4000 psi (280 bar), and the differential pressure setting of 200 psi (14 bar) maintains a stable load-sensing margin. Clockwise shaft rotation is specified for proper installation, and the rotating group can reach 2200 rpm at full displacement.
The pump tolerates transient peaks to 5100 psi (350 bar), and the drive shaft can transmit up to 316 Nm at 280 bar without overstress. Suction oil enters through an SAE J518 2 in inlet port, and pressure oil exits through an SAE J518 1 in outlet, simplifying connection to common hydraulic tubing. Internal leakage is routed to tank by an ISO 11926 7/8-14 UNF-2B case drain port, and housing backpressure must stay below 29 psi (2 bar) to protect seals. A through-drive interface of SAE J744 101-2 with a 1 in 15-tooth 16/32 DP spline permits mounting an auxiliary pump in tandem.
