The 4WSE2EM10-5X/45B9T315K31EV servo valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for the 4WS Servo Valves series. It regulates spool position to direct hydraulic flow in automated machinery. The electronics are powered by a ±15 V supply, and spool deflection follows a ±10 V command so that the controller can issue symmetrical signals around zero. Each electromagnetic coil draws a rated current of 30 mA, while a resistance of 85 Ω defines the steady-state electrical load seen by the drive amplifier. A series inductance of 1.0 H slows the current rise when the coils are wired in line, whereas a parallel inductance of 0.25 H supports faster response when the windings are fed individually. Overall current draw is limited to 150 mA, and an IP65 housing protects the valve against dust ingress and low-pressure water during field operation.

For mechanical integration the valve uses the ISO 4401-05-05-0-05 porting pattern, allowing it to bolt directly to standard NG10 subplates. Under reference conditions it passes 45 l/min, a figure obtained at a 70 bar differential so flow calculations remain consistent across applications. The pressure envelope extends to 315 bar, permitting use on high-pressure hydraulic circuits without derating. Fluid entering the unit must meet ISO 4406 class 18/16/13 to prevent contamination from affecting the precision spool. FKM seals marked with code V withstand mineral oils and elevated temperatures to maintain leakage control over long service intervals. Users can choose an external or internal pilot oil supply and return to match system design constraints. Electrical hookup is completed through a connector built to EN 175201-804, providing a keyed and environmentally sealed interface to the drive electronics.
