The 4WS2EM6-2X/20B11ET315K17EV-102 servo valve is built by Bosch Rexroth in the 4WS Servo Valves series to modulate hydraulic actuators in automated machinery. It interprets an analog control signal, and the current-controlled output stage adjusts the spool position to achieve commanded flow. Each electromagnetic coil is rated for 30 mA and presents 85 Ω of resistance; inductance is 0.25 H with the coils wired in parallel or 1.0 H in series. Under a differential pressure of 70 bar the valve supplies 20 l/min, and the spool uses a negative overlap to minimize deadband during directional changes.
The hydraulic body tolerates operating pressures up to 315 bar, while the pilot section shares the same 315 bar limit for uniform loading. Pilot oil supply and return are both routed internally, eliminating external pilot lines. A mechanical return system recenters the spool when the command current drops to zero, and all dynamic seals are formed from FKM for chemical and thermal stability. Contamination control is maintained to ISO 4406 (c) 18/16/13, and the housing carries an IP65 protection class that shields the electronics from dust and low-pressure water jets.
