It uses nominal size 6 dimensions to fit compact circuits, and the ISO 4401-03-02-0-94 subplate interface lets the unit bolt directly to standard CETOP 03 manifolds. A 24 V DC supply energizes the solenoid, while an internal LVDT DC/DC feedback device with ±10 V signaling returns precise spool position to the controller for closed-loop accuracy. The valve delivers a nominal flow of 40 l/min at a 70 bar differential so medium-duty cylinders receive consistent volume. Its linear flow characteristic keeps the relationship between command signal and volume steady across the stroke, and the C4 spool symbol defines dual flow paths for bidirectional actuator movement. During a power loss the spool shifts to a 4/4 de-energized center, blocking all ports and securing the system.

A mechanical acceleration resistance of 40 g allows the assembly to withstand shock and vibration in mobile or press installations without loss of calibration. Compatibility with HL and HLP mineral oils simplifies fluid selection, and an ISO 4406 (c) 18/16/13 cleanliness requirement helps protect the precision edges from abrasive particles. The design accepts viscosities up to 800 mm²/s, enabling cold-start operation, and it tolerates fluid temperatures as high as 80 °C before derating is required. Working ports p, a, and b can be pressurized to 315 bar, while the tank line endures up to 250 bar, providing a safe margin for counterbalance or back-pressure circuits. NBR seals are used to contain the oil and resist swelling throughout the rated temperature and pressure range.
