The 4WRPH6C4B15P-2X/G24Z4/M proportional valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth for the 4WRP Solenoid Valves series. It meters flow and directs pressure in automated hydraulic circuits where electronic control of actuator speed and position is required. The valve is built in size 6 (NG6), allowing it to fit standard modular manifolds without additional adapters. Its mounting interface follows ISO 4401-03-02-0-94 so installers can bolt it to common subplates and maintain interchangeability across machines. A C4 spool provides the required metering geometry for symmetrical flow to both service ports, while the non-linear (P) flow characteristic gives fine resolution near the neutral position and higher flow gain at larger strokes. The unit is energized by a 24 V DC supply that drives the proportional solenoids through a 2P + PE connector threaded M16 × 1.5. An internal LVDT transducer outputs a ±10 V signal for position feedback, and its wiring is handled by a 4-pin Pg7 connector, allowing closed-loop controllers to adjust the spool in real time.
At a differential pressure of 70 bar the valve delivers a nominal flow of 15 l/min, supplying cylinders or motors with moderate volume while preserving precise control. Ports p, a, and b tolerate working pressures up to 315 bar, and the tank port t is rated at 250 bar, enabling the device to operate in high-pressure power units without overstressing the body. Mineral oil fluids of the HL or HLP classification can be used; NBR seals are fitted to maintain leakage integrity with these media. System cleanliness must be kept to ISO 4406 level 18/16/13 or better to protect the metering edges from wear. The assembly withstands vibration loads of 25 g, so it can be mounted on mobile machinery frames without loss of accuracy. A total mass of 2.3 kg simplifies handling during installation and keeps manifold weight low within compact hydraulic automation packages.
