The 4WRPE6W32SJ-2X/G24K0/F1M proportional solenoid valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth as part of the 4WRP Solenoid Valves series. It is applied in hydraulic automation to meter flow to actuators under closed-loop control. The valve is built in nominal size 6, allowing it to fit compact NG6 manifolds, and it uses the ISO 4401-03-02-0-94 interface so mounting is standardized across subplates. A supply of 24 V DC energizes the solenoid stage, while the electronics accept a 4 to 20 mA command signal, enabling direct current loop control from common PLC analog outputs. Step changes in input are followed within 20 ms, supporting fast pressure or position corrections in servo circuits. The spool geometry is classified as progressive, therefore flow gain increases gradually with stroke to aid stable low-flow modulation. At a differential pressure of 5 bar the valve passes 32 l/min, which defines its nominal flow rating for sizing pumps and lines. Electrical power draw remains below 40 VA on the NG6 version so cabinet supplies are not heavily loaded.
In operation the A and B ports withstand pressures up to 315 bar, and the tank port is limited to 200 bar, giving designers clear limits for cylinder or motor circuits. Protection of the cartridge is graded IP65, meaning the enclosure blocks dust and low-pressure water jets when the 6P+PE connector specified by DIN 43563 is properly fitted. A slow-blow 2.5 A external fuse is recommended to guard wiring against short faults without nuisance trips during inrush. Internal leakage is restricted to 80 cm³ per minute per edge at 100 bar so standby losses remain low. Fluid cleanliness should meet ISO 4406 class 18/16/13 to avoid wear in the precision spool and sleeve. The assembled unit weighs 3.9 kg which influences manifold support brackets and handling during service.
