The 4WRP10W32S-1X/G24Z4/M-849 is a proportional directional valve produced by Bosch Rexroth in the 4WRP Solenoid Valves series. It modulates flow in hydraulic automation circuits using a proportional solenoid that is driven by an external amplifier. The solenoid operates from a 24 V DC supply and can draw up to 3.7 A during full stroke, while electrical resistance of the coil is 2.5 Ω at 20 °C. Power consumption does not exceed 60 VA, allowing the valve to run from standard machine control power loops. A stepped command changes the spool position within 50 ms, which helps machines react quickly to load changes. Spool position is verified by an AC/AC LVDT on the A-side so closed-loop controllers can correct drift. With a progressive flow characteristic, the valve delivers a nominal flow of 32 l/min at a 5 bar pressure drop. The housing mates to manifolds through an ISO 4401-05-06-0-94 interface which standardizes port geometry across equipment builders.
The cast body is sealed to IP65, so wiring and internal components remain protected against dust ingress and water jets when the machine operates in wash-down areas. Hydraulic limits are defined by a working pressure of 315 bar on ports p, a, and b, a tank port rating of 250 bar, and a drain port limit of 2 bar, enabling the valve to withstand high-pressure servo loops while keeping case leakage low. Electrical hookup is made through a DIN 43650 / ISO 4400 connector with an M16×1.5 thread, simplifying field replacement. At 8.0 kg, the assembly can be handled by one technician during service without lifting gear. These features align with the series design objective of delivering precise, durable flow control in industrial hydraulic automation systems.
