Port X carries pilot pressure and tolerates up to 280 bar, matching the internal rating of the main flow paths. Ports T and Y are designated for tank return and case drain, and they are restricted to 250 bar to protect downstream plumbing. A minimum pilot pressure of 10 bar is required to shift the spool reliably, ensuring stable actuation even when system pressure is low. These limits define safe operating envelopes for designers who must size pumps, accumulators, and relief valves around this component.
