The 4WRL25WZ350S-3X/G24Z4/M proportional solenoid valve is built by Bosch Rexroth within the 4WRL Solenoid Valves series. It meters hydraulic flow and pressure in automated circuits that require direct electronic control. The valve runs on a 24 V DC supply and links to control wiring through a DIN 43560-AM2 plug. Installation follows the ISO 4401-08-07-0-94 mounting interface to align pressure and tank ports accurately. Hydraulic passages p, A, and B withstand up to 350 bar, while the unit can deliver as much as 900 l/min to downstream actuators. Pilot oil is introduced externally at port X, and a dedicated channel provides 24 l/min for pilot functions once system pressure reaches the 10 bar minimum. An NBR seal set contains the working fluid, and the assembly weighs 18 kg, enabling rigid support on standard sub-plates.
The proportional element reaches 10 percent command in 20 ms when the pilot line is kept at 100 bar. A full spool stroke to 100 percent demand is completed in 45 ms under the same pilot pressure. Closed-loop behavior is precise, with hysteresis limited to 0.1 percent of the input signal. Oil cleanliness must meet ISO 4406 18/16/13 to protect the fine metering edges. Pilot galleries tolerate pressures up to 250 bar. The same 250 bar limit also applies to the tank, X, and Y return lines. These response and pressure limits support accurate flow control in hydraulic automation tasks.
