The pilot section passes 24 l/min to the main spool and leaks 500 cm³/min at 100 bar, while the main stage leakage is held to 1000 cm³/min at the same test pressure so overall energy loss stays low. These leakage limits, combined with proportional solenoid regulation, maintain stable positioning of the spool under varying load forces.
