Internal sealing restricts main stage leakage to 600 cm³/min at 100 bar, and the pilot stage leakage is held below 300 cm³/min at the same pressure to minimize energy loss. The hydraulic fluid must meet ISO 4406 cleanliness class 18/16/13 so the spool and orifices remain free of abrasive contamination.
