The 4WRA6M07-2X/G24N9K4/V-589 proportional directional valve is produced by Bosch Rexroth within the 4WRA Proportional Directional Valves series. It meters flow and sets spool position in closed-loop hydraulic automation systems. The valve is built in size 6, so its envelope and flow paths match CETOP 03 manifolds. Subplate mounting simplifies replacement because the hydraulic ports remain in the base block. The ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 porting pattern aligns the P, T, A, and B channels with standard gasket layouts. A 24 V DC supply energizes the proportional solenoid, and the 2-pole plus protective-earth Design A connector provides quick electrical hookup. A concealed manual override lets maintenance personnel shift the spool without powering the coil. Acceptable hydraulic fluid temperatures range from −20 °C to +70 °C, and stable control is maintained when viscosity stays within the recommended 30 to 46 mm²/s band.
The valve supports a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar at ports A, B, and P, enabling it to direct high-pressure actuator flows, while the return port T may be loaded up to 210 bar. A nominal flow capacity of 42 l/min defines the throughput the proportional stage can modulate without excessive pressure loss. During installation the body is clamped to the manifold with screws tightened to 7 N·m, which protects the seal face from distortion. Fluid viscosities from 20 to 380 mm²/s are tolerated, allowing cold-start or high-temperature operation outside the optimum window. The cleanliness requirement of ISO 4406 20/18/15 limits particle contamination so the spool and lands maintain precise overlap. With a mass of 2.0 kg the component can be handled by a single technician when assembling or replacing modules in a hydraulic stack.
