The 4WRA6E30-2X/G24N9K4/V proportional directional valve is part of the 4WRA Proportional Directional Valves series and is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for closed-loop hydraulic automation. Sized as a valve 6 unit, it installs on subplates and matches the ISO 4401-03-02-0-05 interface, so it can be integrated into standard CETOP 03 manifolds. The hydraulic passages accept 8 mm ports, and the metering geometry supports a nominal flow of 26 l/min at a 5 bar pressure drop per edge, giving predictable cylinder or motor speed under normal load. When larger demands occur, the spool can pass up to 42 l/min without exceeding design capacity. Working lines a, b, and p are rated for 350 bar, while the tank port is limited to 210 bar, which protects return plumbing from excessive back-pressure and maintains stable operation.
Electrical connection is made through a K4 plug with two power contacts and protective earth, and a concealed N9 manual override permits local actuation during commissioning or fault recovery. The enclosure meets IP65, so pressurized water jets or dust do not affect internal coils, and the FKM seals withstand common hydraulic fluids to prevent leakage. Surface temperature may reach 150 °C in continuous duty, therefore mounting clearances must respect heat-sensitive nearby components. Cleanliness of the supply oil must not exceed ISO 4406 20/18/15 to avoid spool jamming. To fix the valve to its subplate the screws are tightened to 7 Nm, ensuring gasket compression without thread damage, and the assembled unit adds only 2.0 kg to the manifold load which simplifies handling during maintenance.
