The 4WRA10W60-2X/G24K4/V proportional directional valve is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth as part of the 4WRA Proportional Directional Valves series. It regulates both flow rate and directional change in hydraulic automation circuits by means of electrically driven spool positioning. The solenoid windings are energized with a 24 V DC supply, and their resistance is 2 Ω at 20 °C, defining the expected electrical load. A continuous 100 % duty cycle permits permanent actuation without enforced cooling intervals, while a maximum current of 2.5 A per solenoid keeps electromagnetic force within safe limits. The coil can withstand temperatures up to 150 °C during prolonged operation. Connection is provided through the DIN EN 175301-803 K4 plug, and, when coupled with this connector, the housing achieves IP65 protection against dust and water.
The valve is built around nominal size 10 hardware and follows the ISO 4401-05-04-0-94 porting pattern for direct mounting on standardized subplates. Its W-shaped spool establishes a symmetrical metering profile that maintains balanced flow in both directions. Under a 10 bar pressure drop the component delivers a nominal flow of 60 l/min, yet it can pass up to 75 l/min when system demand rises. Working ports p, a, and b are rated for operating pressures up to 315 bar, whereas return port T is limited to 210 bar. Sealing elements made from FKM resist common hydraulic oils and high temperature exposure. The complete assembly weighs 6.6 kg, making it manageable for one-person installation while still providing the mechanical rigidity required for high-pressure service.
